Your time with Julian
Week 1
Build your message
Find the one idea worth speaking about, set a clear intention for every talk, and learn to read the room in front of you. You'll film your first talk and take your speaking assessment, so you know exactly where you're starting.
Week 2
Find your voice
Your voice is your instrument. Learn to use tone, pace, power and silence so people lean in and stay with you from your first words to your last. Includes your first private session with Julian.
Week 3
Command the stage
Preparation, stagecraft and delivery, so you own the room on stage and on camera. You'll film your third talk and get Julian's feedback on how you land.
Week 4
Hold any room
Stay composed under questions, challenge and pressure, and adapt to panels, media, podcasts and virtual events. You'll film your final talk, see your before and after, and have your second 1:1 with Julian.

Questions
Good to know.
Is this live or pre-recorded?
Both. Every teaching session is live in real time with Julian: direct teaching, live practice and personal feedback in a small group. You will also have a private small group for practice and connection with your peers.
All sessions are recorded so you can access them afterwards, and you will also record your own short talk multiple times as you develop your skills.
Why is it application-only?
A small group means Julian can give everyone real attention and feedback on their own speaking. The application simply makes sure the people in the group are serious about growing as speakers.
I'm nervous and not an experienced speaker. Is that okay?
Yes. Nerves are normal and we work with them directly. You need something you care about saying and the willingness to practise. Julian has taught complete beginners and seasoned professionals alike.
Does this cover speaking on camera, too?
Yes. The modern speaker has to own both the stage and the lens. You'll film a two-minute talk every week, and Julian teaches speaking to camera for video, podcasts and online talks in week three.
How much time will it take each week?
Plan for the 90-minute live session plus focused practice between sessions. You'll get the most from it by applying what you learn to your own speaking as you go.
What if I apply and the cohort fills up?
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. If the current cohort fills, your application carries over to the next one and you'll be first in line.
